VN's.
There's so many video games that I'm not trying to fap to that I can play elsewhere. I'm not looking for a "quality game" on Lewd Corner.

That being said, if I actually find one that's engaging and has fun components, I'm thrilled!

While Vn's have grown on me with the time I still would say that I prefer some actual gameplay, Kalyskah is a very good example, while not that good for a quick fap, is a pretty enjoyable game.

I prefer sandboxes over VNs but most of the time finding a good sandbox is harder than finding a good VNs

I am kinda basic, I like incest games or harem games, if its a VN with multiple choices/route/endings, better

VNs. I like good plots, better yet if its acompanied with good graphics. VN is very simple, but very effective to porn games.
You can have branched storylines without anything complex, just some basic choices.
I hate sandboxes. Almost always it is so much grind to so little content. In my opinion they only make the game convoluted and a waste of time.

No sandbox. Its a waste of effort for devs and a waste of time for players cos most sandbox mechanics accomplish nothing and have almost no substantial purpose except bloat to buy devs time.

As for diverging paths, endings and decisions, if you do not have the full storyline and storyboard worked out as well as the dedication & commitment, then don't bother. A kinetic novel with a rich narrative is a much better product than a multi path & ending VN with choices that have no impact, rushed endings or the VN gets abandoned mid way.
Big gaming companies with huge budgets still struggle with making good RPGs with multiple paths/endings, what makes you think a single dev or a few devs can do any better? Not trying to be demeaning but just being realistic.

VNs and sandbox games that aren't grindy. Sometimes RPGM games, but I find the walking around pretty tedious in those.

Totally dig those where i can sniff most or all of the content in one go. Don't have enough life to repeat same VN for a few different scenes.

I prefer games with actual gameplay, where the adult stuff is there to spice things up, not necessarily the focus. Kamidori Alchemy Meister might be my favourite adult game. There are a few others as well, all from japanese developers.

That's not to say I can't enjoy a VN, with a good story anything goes, really.

I like VNs that have branches in the story or even ones that are linear too, but I tend to avoid anything that uses RPGM.

I prefer straight up visual VN's with some choices that matter. As most sandbox's in VN's are usually a waste of time that end up frustrating.

Now it someone got the budget to make an actual 3D open world Action RPG that wast unity then I'd enjoy that as well.

Needs a small loan of a million likes right here.

straight vn is fine but i prefer sandbox when done right. something like deviant anomalies because it isnt too grindy

Same. Sandboxes with little grind can be nice.

VN but with choices. I HATE kinetic novels - they're not games an they suck. No grinding or minigames. Sandbox is OK if it's really open world, NOT if there's one right place to go you have to find.
