What kind of game-play do you prefer for your adult titles?

Either a VN with a rather complicated choices system, or a sandbox. I download games to enjoy gameplay, not to flip through a digital comic book, which KNs are.
PS:
1. Point-and-click with sandbox elements. Examples - Bright Past, Straitened Times. It is interesting to “ level up” your character, gradually opening new quests, the possibility of meeting new NPCs.
2. Visual novels with rather complex branching storylines, where every choice you make matters. There are few successful examples, except The Entrepreneur comes to mind
What I categorically do not accept - fuckfests (examples - Reunion, Grandma's House) and kinetic novels. They can be successfully replaced by traditional porn or books (the literary level of almost all kinetic novels does not rise above the average fanfic, it's a pity to waste time on this graphomania).

VN's all the way, when is comes to adult games I'm not looking for any complex gameplay.

I prefer RPGs. Need something to do while cooling down between firing rounds and a good RPG hits the spot. By the time I get done collecting 50 wood or whatever I'll be ready to go again.

I don't mind choices, it adds some spice ce to the game, what I hate are sandbox games where you have to complete certain things at certain times to open more of the story. Especially when it's "time based" and you have to just keep sleeping to move the game time ahead

Yeah, that's the worst. Sandbox at all where it's finding the right place to go to advance rather than open world is total bullshit. Having to do it at a particular time - the dev is a shitcunt.

Yeah if I have to go to random places or sleep to progress the game the dev is a pos

I preference is visual novels. I am fine with sandboxes as long as there is not too much grind.

VN is best, but NOT a kinetic novel. See my sig - KN's are NOT games, and they suck. There definitely shouldn't be difficulty though, especially not dumb shit - like turn left or right - one choice you die, one you go on. Gameplay should be more about who you go for.

Don't know... I like when the heat increases gradually otherwise ... It seems too straightforward. I have nothing against a good VN, though :)

I prefer simple sandbox games with no combat. I don't like it when the "story" gets way too weird like 23 sisters(I think that's the name).

as weird as it sounds the summertime saga style with some minigames are my style. As long as they are explained properly
Great game but they removed most of the content in the last update.

Myself I HATE slow burn and really hate grind. Sandbox is OK if it's really open world and not "guess what's the only place you're supposed to go next to advance." Or worse, if it has to be at a specific time.

Summertime saga. It seems there haven't been any significant update since a while, I think.

I agree there are bad sandboxes where you spend more time figuring out what to do but in good sandboxes there is always something to do and with a good hint system, everything should be fluent. But I see your point!

Last update was in May, I think. Version 21. They're using a new source code so most content is locked.

Any idea on when they are planning to add everything that was present before?

A little free roaming without the grinding stuff and real choices that have an impact on the game and may lead to different endings
