Before my wife passed she would bring all her girlfriends around and parade them by me, trying to see if I would cheat with them. After she passed, a metric fuckton of them came by to see if they could be the one to console me in my loss because I never cheated with them and they couldn't believe it. Threesome is so awkward specially MMF and when it's FFM rarely you can find female that would hook up with another female it will just end up you fucking the girl then next the other girl. No interest. I can do with threesomes in games and fiction, but I like to keep it firmly within the realm of fantasy. I don't want to bring that into reality, even if I find myself in a scenario where it's possible. It's more complexity than I'm willing to invite, with the chance for unwanted attachments (FWB discovers (s)he likes one/both of us) or even changes of heart (partner feels a little more compatibility with other guy/girl, gets worse with each hook-up, eventually breaks up with me due to shifting feelings and I bemoan ever having engaged with the idea), and it's something I believe to be degenerate.

I am aware that that last point is very ironic given where I am right now, bordering on nonsensical, but that's what I believe. Fiction? Go wild, show whatever you want no matter how insane, immoral or over-the-top. In reality, I actively avoid even the potential for such a scenario. I'd rather not open that door and find monsters wait on the other side. I'm simply not the type to do certain things or even think of them as a good idea to carry out in the real world, and participating in a threesome is one of them.
