In the future do you think AI will save the world or destroy it?

Destroy. It's already eroding people's abilities to think critically and do basic tasks that they had no issues with before AI started to proliferate. Not to mention the astronomical data use and environmental impacts.

The AI will think it's saving it. Whether that world includes humanity as we are, or would like to be, or not is an entirely different matter, though.

The world? If we keep developing ais the way we are, with no oversights or safeguards... probably save it, from a utilitarian perspective... which likely means getting rid of us...

With proper care and treating it like something more dangerous than nuclear weapons - and it effectively can be - maybe, just maybe, there's a not dystopian future where it can help us become better.
