What's your take on alcohol?

What do you guys think about alcohol? Do you drink? Are you against it?

Personally, I only drink when I go out with friends and stuff like that. I’ve never drunk alone, but it’s not something I’d rule out.

Alcohol has to be one of the most common things nowadays and since forever. I think it’s because it has been with us for a very long time throughout history.

Drank alot when I was young, got drunk when I was 10 from that Jewish Manischewitz grape wine they gave us at Synagogue.
My parents had a wet bar in our home my entire life and allowed me to drink so long as it was at home and they were aware. They knew as a teen I'd find a way to do it and they preferred I do it in safety and not ever drink and drive (They were right)
I think I consumed a lifetime of Liquor before I was 25, after that Beer and dark Liquors started to make me sick (within 20 min of drinking went straight to hangover/sick and skipped all the fun parts)
Few years later all alcohol was doing it so I stopped Drinking entirely. Sadly I tried to do it again as I hit my 50's but with my medical conditions I cannot drink at all.
Tried weed again and alas Im alergic to that now so generally No alcohol no weed for me ever again. Only way I get any escape is through fantasy, food or sex.
Lucky for me I found a young woman who loves intamacy and that I am not allergic too
When my junk stops working I'll be ready to die

Just like most things in life, it's okay in moderation. Or as a hobby... collecting and trying out aged whiskey for example.
Not as cool or as okay if it's an addiction.

In general, I have a positive attitude, but I don't like strong drinks (vodka, whiskey, etc.). I like dry red wines for meat dishes and beer for all occasions.

I really like drinking with other people, never alone. But I get really wasted every time I try.

Getting drunk at 10 is crazy hahaha. But yeah, they were right, though. As a teen, you always found a way to get drinks with your friends.

Manischewitz is a sweet, kosher fruit wine with an alcohol content of 11% ABV (alcohol by volume) for standard varieties like Concord Grape. That shit was sweet and addictive I had zero idea it was that potent, what kid dont like cold grape juice heheh
