bare minimum for me is a mediocre plot with nice graphics. if i don't like the visuals whats the point ya know. at that point might as well look for a text based game
It's better to have a good balance on it, and for the characters to appeal to you (I doesn't matter having good graphics if all girls on the game is not your type).
I preffer plot. If it's good I can play the game for a long time and don't get tired of it. But if the graphics is really bad, It's difficult getting over it.
That is difficult for me, because if the story is very good and can still read for the graphics, and if the graphics are too good I can always skip the story and use only the images, but overall I think it should be balanced
Plot. I can get by rough graphics, but a terrible story, no matter how well-presented, simply drives me away. You can have character models that fit every single kink and interest I have, and even some I don't know I have, but if they're all retarded, or the plot meanders for ten hours, or bizarre twists come out of nowhere to shake things up in ways that serve only to frustrate me for how baffling those story inclusions are, then it's a deal-breaker. Write well and I can watch white text on a black screen for several hours. Write poorly and your supermodel character assets will be deleted along with your game.
Good artwork is what draws me in, a good story is what keeps me invested in the game. If the story isn't interesting then I probably wont keep playing or will just decrypt the game and look at the images or look for a full save. I feel like most players are the same
Both are important, and it is really nice when a Dev comes up with the right balance of both. But good graphics is what initially draws me in to try a game.
Let's be honest, us people who play porn games do it because we like our porn to be visualized in some way. Graphics are way more important, otherwise we'd be fapping to stick figures and erotic novels like some others do. For me the plot just has to be serviceable enough to not take me completely out of the moment.
Balance between plot and graphics. Even though story always comes first for me, I can't bring myself to play games with pixel graphics. Besides, I'll be frank, game graphics don't turn me on sexually, I'd rather watch regular porn. And sex in games is a kind of seasoning to dishes, adds a nice spice to the gameplay, but no more.
Plot is more important.
I have dropped gorgeous games because I became completely disinterested in the story and events, but I have never dropped a game with a gripping plot just because it wasn't pretty enough.
