Both, without plot is best to just download image packs, with bad images the game is hardly engaging

For similar reasons, it also has to actually be a GAME and not a kinetic novel. Without any interaction, might as well watch porn. Of course, unless it involves lolis, but then the graphics better not be fucking cartoons. Still no to KNs.

Well you can wank at one game's models with no engagement whatsoever or stay to read for a while a good or funny story. For me it's like a onetime stand with girl from club and a good wife. One can be flashy and give you a good time but you won't be putting ring on her finger or listen to her nonsense. While a good story may make you feel nice and cozy

I'm more interested in the writing than the plot, per se. A story that can set a good, steamy scene is a win for me. Graphics a less important, although I find Koikatsu games a huge turn off. And anything based on Loud House. And furry. Those games would be improved with no graphics.

Generally I prefer a good plot, always taking into account that the renders don't look so ugly. Before, I used to only choose games made with ren'py, but after playing "Eternum" (made with HS), I usually give the game a chance before rejecting it.

Graphics, I pick a game for the graphics to begin with, and if the game has a bad plot I can just skip through and look at the scenes without caring about the story.

No matter how good the graphics are, I find it very hard to slog through a game with bad writing or a story I don't care about.

Both are really important, a very good story can make me play some bad graphics games (and has done so), and if the graphics are really good (like, really really good) it makes me consider skipping through the game (but I usually prefer to go se porn i I want that, they have to be too good, like unique good).
A good combination of good graphics and a good story is the deal. Even if they are no awesome on their own.

I would have to say both. When I am looking for a game to download the first thing I do is look at the preview pictures. However after that it is the plot that keeps me playing the game.

In these kind of games, graphics. In sfw games, I go for plot over graphics, but they are important too

I think both are important. The renders can easily impress someone and pull them into the game, while the plot can keep them engaged.
