I read too fast for it to be anything but annoying.
I'll give all games a chance with their audio but majority of the time it gets muted in favour of my own playlists.

I usually play for about 15 minutes or so with voices on, depending on if the VA is annoying or not, I'll decide to keep it on or turn it off.

I don't even play those games unless they are exceptionally good. Even then I mute them.

I haven't seen it done well in any games so far. It's just adding another level that things could go wrong on.

If it's well voice acted then sure i'd definitely find it more immersive but if it's bad then i'd obviously mute it..

Except then it would be in Japanese. Also, the game would be very cartoony and censored, neither of which are acceptable to me.

They're amazing, it should be a lot more, like in Snow Daze. Unfortunately, they're extremely rare in western games. In japanese they're very common, but they are usually not well animated. It's always a trade off, and I always choose good animations instead of dubs

I tend to mute everything - just find the background noise, especially the music, annoying.

When the voice matches and works it can be really great. But mostly no, I don’t mind a voice adding sounds /moans to the scenes but full voiced is a gamble

Extremely negative. Automatic voice-over (text to speech) - slag, as for the traditional voice-over - the openly amateurish nature of such attempts is too noticeable.
