Do you let games Build up releases before playing again?

To be honest, I prefer to play games once theyre totally finished, but I recognize it's pretty rare and unrealistic. So I'll usually wait for a few versions to come out before I dive in

I usually just wait long enough that I forget which choices lead to certain paths. Play enough new games to blur the memories of each individual one, and then go back when I can't remember specifics.

Really depends on the game. Some of them are quite interesting but have very few updates.
These I normally install immediately. Those with many updates have to wait somewhat.

it depends on the size of the updates, smaller i wait 3 - 5. bigger 1 - 2

It really depends on the game, if it's something I really enjoy and I'm waiting for you I'll play it immediately. otherwise I might wait few iterations.

I play them as soon as a new update is out you never know how long it will take to be completed.

well me it depends on the game, but generally i prefer to wait out till theres bunch for new content. Anyone else?

The same. There are some games with solid updates so you know you won't lose your time. For the others, I will wait... or forget them.

I'm new at gaming, so I was downloading everything. But now I have had a chance to figure out what I like, and it's only a few. Fortunately, they all have sizable updates.

I usually wait, but some games consistently put out updates that are larger and or more interesting so I'm more likely get in on those closer to updates being released.

Play once, mark it down if I like it. Check back when it's completed.

I've been burned a couple times though, where games that I probably would have enjoyed for many updates eventually shit the bed at the end and I couldn't enjoy them at all. Namely, Dating my Daughter and Daughter for Dessert. So now if I really like a game, I'll check back every couple updates. Currently that's just Such a Sharp Pain and Radiant.

I usually wait for some late versions.

Main reason : bad games end fast. So I won't lose my time.
And I like read comments before testing a game myself... In LewdCorner website for instance ;)

I usually do this when a game is disappointing, to let it find itself. It almost never works.

For Grandma's house I typically wait 1 or 2 updates between my sessions

I try to play games that are complete or have enough content, I don't tend to go back to games unless they been updated numerous times.
I put incomplete games on a fav tab to watch it. When I want to play a new game I just open that fav tab and look for games that was completed, or abandoned at all.

For brand new games that look interesting I always jump in straight away to see if I like it. But if a game I know I like have a "too fast" update cycle with low amounts of content, then I'll wait for several updates, yeah.

in general, i wait for 2-3 updates before resuming play. sometimes the updates are just bug fixes or a few lines of extra dialogue.

If it's a game I like. I'll play every update. Otherwise yeah, I'll just forget about it for a while and come back after it's had a few updates.
Also new games, even if they look promising, I'll wait for a few updates to play them, since they offer little content on debut usually.

I usually take a year if i really like it. I usually forget about the story and end up replaying the ones that i remember really liking

If I've been following the game for a long time and the saves are compatible, I play when the next update comes out. Thanks to this, I scrap some games (like Reunion after the last update), and keep following some games. Why don't I accumulate 3-4 updates? A number of games I follow have update cycles of 4-6 months. And in a year and a half you can forget the game's plot :)
