Usually yes. nothing more annoying when a game actually catches you and then it ends. I tend to wait for at least a 1.0

As many updates to VNs are only about 250-350Mb, I try and wait until there is at least 0.5Gb between the last downloaded update and the current one. If the new update shows an additional 500Mb or more over the last update, then it gets downloaded. I find that cliff-hanger style small updates to VNs can be very annoying

I don't like to play games again. Quite often, when the game is updated, the developers break previous saves. That's why I prefer to play only completed games.

It depends for me on the frequency of the updates, I usually don't let a game cook just to cook. When I wanna play it I check if I got new content, if yes yay, if no boo.
