Do you let games Build up releases before playing again?

yes mostly wait a few updates between games it sucks seeing an update and its like 5 mins of new.

Depends on how much invested I'm into it and if the plot can actually pull you in and you just need to know what happens next

if its one i am big invested in, then every update, if kinda interested, i wait a few releases to stock up content

It often happens that if i see game is in very early stages like 0.01, or version 0.03 i stay away until it develops further. Its annoying to download it just to see theres almost nothing there yet.
When it comes to the games i played already, sometimes i wait as well, but its more like skipping one update to play on the second one

I usually wait for multiple updates before downloading a game again. And yeah unless it's something unique sounding that I just have to try I avoid downloading 0.01 versions of new games.

Depends on the update sizes.
If an update come every 3 months or so with 1000+ new images, then I'll play every update.
If it releases every month with 200 new images, then I'll probably skip 2-3 updates until there's a good amount of new content to see.

If I played the first release and liked it, but not A LOT then I patiently wait for the updates to pile up

For me it also depends on the game. If a game has 'normal' updates (no a couple of renders but at least half an hour decent play) I play every update.

I do. I like to be able to play for a while when I get the time to do it. Gets a little frustrating when they suddenly end after just a few minutes

Definitely, used to try playing as soon as a new update came out, but it was always disappointing, or I felt that it wasn't enough content

if i'm really hyped for something, i go patch by patch. otherwise i try to wait.

depends on the size of the updates, if it does small ones i just let it build up

I am waiting for updates if they are frequent, because there is little content in them

i usually play completed games, or incomplete ones with infrequent updates but full with content

These days I prefer complete games, however if a new game looks intetesting I'll wait for a few updates before trying it and then, if hooked, I'll only jump on the occasional update.
This for me means I'm less likely to forget it or confuse it with another story as I'm getting it in bigger blocks.

I leave it a few updates, even if it is a big one. It's a pain trying to re-remember who all these people are time after time, so I try to minimise that as much as possible. I'm thinking of going the complete-only route tbh.

My rule of thumb is that if it's less than 500 mbs, unless it looks really good, I avoid trying it out. To me, less than 500 mbs (not condensed) means there's not enough to really get invested in the game.
