I added Jalapenos and pepper jack cheese instead of normie mac-n-cheese. I feel fancy.
Plus, I saved about $60
They don't have that, I bet. What about light or spiced Rum?It's really good! It's cachaça (a brazilian distilled alcoholic drink amde from sugarcane) with lemon juice.
There should be in other countries, I think it's popular there, too.
Rum is always good.
Oyster and mussels are not really similar (flavor-wise).I liked oysters and mussels. In fact, I think I liked every seafood that I tried. Shrimps, octopuses, squids... Do imitation crab counts? Hahaha
The closest common thing would be scallops.
As for imitation crab... I love that shit! And, it's close-ish. They do add a little flavor to make it closer flavored.
Times ahve changed. I was in MCJROTC as well . We used real M14s (with a welded bolt) for our color guard and the band had an actual cannon. It was a small one, I don't think they ever actually fired a projectile though. The band used it in the Bataan Memorial Death March at White Sands. We had a guy that got kicked out of ROTC in HS and then got the big chicken dinner from the Marines a couple of years later and come back to my HS my senior year with an uzi. Shot out the doors, the trophy cases, but only one kid got hurt by a sliver from a ricochet. School principal remembered the guy and talked him down. He'd apparently climbed onto the roof of the school at night, then dropped into a courtyard (the way they used to do with the Kip's Big Boy) and came in through the CY door. This was all just prior to 1st period - I was outside with the band and didn't hear anything.
He was arrested, the school was cleaned up, and we all went back to living. This was about 15 years prior to Columbine, no deaths or even serious injuries - just another guy with mental issues acting badly. No one felt the need to violate our civil rights out of panic. But, this was also Texas and we had a HS shooting team and lots of guys had hunting weapons in their vehicles. We shot 12 gauge blanks into 55 gallon drums to simulate the cannon fire when the band did the 1812 Overture and we used blank guns for another show when we were doing Battle Hymn of the Republic. Most of us (guys and girls) knew about firearms and grew up shooting. We knew if there was a problem, it was the person and not the weapon that was the problem, and we also knew that not everyone that had a firearm was a kook - not even a significant minority - just few individuals that were going to cause some kind of mayhem whether they got hold of firearm or not. Times have changed quit a bit.
We also had a couple people bring guns to school. No shooting, but one of the guys pistol-whipped the school cop.
I should have said: the cops warned us that they would arrest anyone who brought guns to school. The told us over the loudspeaker announcement and it was on the little tube TVs in every classroom. Everyone knew it would happen. Still, a bunch of idiots still left the guns there.
Damn you a evil witch doctor now?

One of us. One of U.S.Sadly our government went full unchecked police brutality and indiscriminate repression through harsh and abusive justice sentences, so that nice tradition of ours is kinda disappearing. We can't blame people to not want risking being beaten up to death by riot police or ending up with a criminal record because they were just unlucky bystanders
No? I can't remember now.I'm disappointed, couldn't you tell I also was being sarcastic? Maybe we went to deep in the meta-sarcasm.
Self defense shartingGiven my issues with my digestive system , my ass is perfectly fine providing it's own protection
I will probably have to work until I die. Or die from work. You now, it's up to you to realise that your work culture in general is absolutely fucked up, and that the average US worker is morbidly overworked
(and nah, for now we still stick to the 35h/week, but yeah, we got paid holidays, don't be salty about it)
Hopefully it's good. Michael Keeton seems like he can still bring it.Anyone ready for the new Beetlejuice movie? My wife and I just rewatched the first one. Crazy that Michael Keaton is playing as beetle juice again nearly 40 years later. #72yearsold
Batman or not...
Hey, no problem! That reminds me - forgot the thank you for the rusty trombone. Kind of freaked me out, but it felt good.
That's what friend are for, right?
