The challenge for me is a drive a truck cross country for a living so I only have the time and ability to get on the site for a few minutes every couple of months. today has been the first exception to that in well over a year, that's what makes it hard for me. I'm just trying to get to the members+ section for some downloads while I have the time before I go back to work tomorrow.

w for stepping out there. i'm not quite the same, but absolutely was a potential lurker after getting back into a lot of the stuff on LC, but saw a good amount of people trying to be more social (for maybe very specific reasons beyond making internet pals, but eh) and decided to do the same. bypass the months of passively floating about before begrudgingly deciding to put in effort.

It took me way too long to figure out where everyone went after the ATF chaos, but I finally sniffed out the trail to LewdCorner

Funny thing is, I genuinely thought ATF had died this whole time because I couldn’t access it anymore. Turns out my access was just blocked and I only recently managed to get back in with a VPN after reading posts here

Still, finding this place feels like paradise. Massive shoutout to the staff for giving all us confused lurkers a place to regroup.

Since I don't want my coin balance to drop into the negatives for being an anti-social ghost, I’m fighting my social anxiety right now by posting this.

I think it's because when you come here, you are instantly barred from the content you are looking for. Then you invest your time first and get the access later.
But a lot of business models for customers are doing the opposite. First you get free access (free first month / free first visit / and so on), and when you are hooked, they make you pay.

Genuine question, is there a reason to keep being active once you've unlocked whatever tier you're aiming for? It seems like Member+ is lifetime if you buy it using Lewdcoin, and I've seen varying information on whether your stats decay over time.

If member+ is all you're after then short answer is "No". If you don't feel like engaging with the community after that point and get to try out whatever is behind it you are good to return back into the shadows.
