Sorry to say but for the past few updates I have been doing this with Grandma's House, just there to see the pics now!

Mostly on repeat scenes. A few actual in game scenes can make me just be like "I get it move on" but if there is to much of that in a game I will tend to stop playing it anyways.

If a game is uninteresting, boring, or a total fuckfest, I just delete it. Why mess with it?

Happens if the art is good but story not

Playing a vn but then skipping the vn part seems a bit pointless. If the game isn't interesting, I don't skip dialogue, I just uninstall the game.

If the text is uninteresting enough so that I skip all the dialogue, then i just dont play the game. I want to have some semblance of meaning to a porn game, otherwise is not different from just porn. The rest of the game, animation or whatever has to be THAT good for me to stick around if im not remotely interested in any text in the game

I do this for mandatory routes, when for example, you are interested in X character, but, to get there, you need to advance with this other one, so, I just skip and only read the parts I want.

No way, if it's boring I just play sth else. It's not like there's a shortage of porn on the internet :P

I very often play stealth builds so my pinkie is married to the CTRL key. Unless the game has a 'toggle sneak' mode, or unless they forcibly keybind it to the 'C' key.

I would hardly call it "playing" if you keep holding ctrl :p Since I never skip anything, I would only use this key if I were to try another path that repeats lots of stuff (no need to read twice in a row the same stuff 😅).

I only skip things I've already seen, mostly if you have to repeat an event/action in a sandbox game.

I think if the game doesnt hook me in within the first 5 mins, I usually lose interest in the dialogue then I just CTRL through the rest of it.

I will use CTRL if I sense a lull. I can tell when the dialogue drags

I'll use ctrl/skip if I've played past scenes already and I go back to skip to a certain scene I haven't played yet, or if I need to restart a game due to previous saves not working or something.
