Only if the game is an insane grind. I am fine with some grind, but when I'm constantly tripping over my own dick trying to grind 15 different systems which should only take 5 minutes but takes 5 hours just to be grindy...nah I'm good.

I usually play the game a little bit first but depending on how busy/invested I am, the time between me picking it up and me trying to cheat/brute force my way to the "goods" can shorten-

That's some serious dedication going back through all those saves just to squeeze out every scene. Honestly, if a game makes it that grindy to unlock everything, I don't blame anyone for using a cheat or save editor to see the rest.

No because if the game requires too much grinding I will get bored pretty easily. Good games have a good balance and always leaves you wanting more.

Usually only once I've played it through once on hard level then I will consider playing a game in god mode

No, I actually hate doing that. If I'm not going to achieve all of them legally I prefer not to even get them.

Yeah, sometimes.
If the game doesn’t feel worth replaying and grinding everything a second time (like Midnight Paradise), I’ll just unlock the rest.
But with something like Being a DIK I actually went through it again properly.

I just complete one route legitimately load up a full save and see what I missed

Yeah, not if the game is good but sometimes I just want to see if it's worth it, you know?

If the only thing it does is to waste less of my times, yes I will cheat where possible. If the grind is not that bad, I will cheat when it become time consuming.

Sometimes, in common renpies i wouldnt unless there's some kind of job mechanic where u get paid with almost nothing.
But usually i would definitely cheat in games which are trying to be sth more then just a porn game, where there are a lot of quests, puzzles, grinding and everything but the ending point is still getting the porn scene lmao.
E.G. Aurelia - a truly great game, a gem with pixel graphics but not an another platformer or rpgm creation, and the reason im not annoyed by this game is probably because i've decided that i'd cheat in the beginning of the game and didnt try to grind or do some boring shit

I usually don't, I just straight up modify the game if I feel it needs some QOL (text log, border highlighter, event marker, etc) or value clamping for testing purpose. Finding out how to obtain certain things is a joy of its own. That said I mainly dig around RPGM (VX Ace, MV, MZ) and Unity, so for example with Ren'py I just wait for Walkthrough Mod if it matters.

I have no qualms cheating if I don't like the game. Sometimes it's nice to actually play it and get the rewards yourself, but if I don't like the game then I'm gonna cheat to get the parts I want.

I feel like its fine to cheat if you feel like it is enhancing your experience with the game (avoiding grinding, progressing storylines, seeing content you wouldnt otherwise see, etc). Most of the time I just use it to save time.

only if i really dont like the story and i just want the gallery
