I like a bit of background music, but I turn the volume down so it's genuine background and not in-your-face.

sometimes the music adds to the content, sometimes it is just mindless noise which I don't care about as long as there is an option to mute

I turn off all sound on porn games, if I happen to have my headphones on I'll usually open volume mixer before opening a new game so I can mute it from there before it plays the menu music. I turn off sound or at least music on the vast majority of normal games too. If I want to listen to music I'll turn on my own.

I dont even know what game is anymore but i for sure remember the music. If its a long play i would say music its a must.

I prefer to pay Vns without the sandbox aspect so having some music in the background feels way better than just reading in silence

When done right, music adds to the gaming experience.

I'm big on music for games. For example, a standout soundtrack from when I was a kid, is Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 (PS1).

I have quit quite a few games due to no music or no audio in intimate scenes. Second one just kills the immersion completely

on low volume but ye. music is good to have

I'd say some AVNs can fit music, I know a few which don't have any music/sounds; but that doesn't bother me.

Real question should have been how much longer are you willing to wait for a release while the dev finds the right music? ;)

Most of the time (80-90%) I mute the game. Even when I try to play with the music, I end muting it. It uses to be repetitive and after a while is pretty annoying. Voices I only leave them on, on Japanese games. Japanese voices are too hot to mute them XD

Sure! The music helps with the game experience,

I may be playing to bust a nut but I'm not against busting a move every now and then too

Always mute these sound in the settings. So for me: NOPE

No, in fact I hate it at this point as too many devs have proven they can't be bothered to put in actual effort. Not sure how many games have nearly blew my ear drums out with their BS opening of the game cause it's 2x louder than anything else I use or listen to at max volume.
Then there is the fact it can throw the feeling off cause the story takes a turn but the music is still playing from before and is not right for the feel anymore.
Also it just bloats the size of the download.

I'm not saying there are no games out there that do good with music, but they are few and far between and have their chance ruined by others cause I shut that shit down asap.

I play without sound, no need to draw attention 😂

I need music. I may lower the volume for scenes but I need it.

It definitely adds to the experience when done right & if it fits the theme/story.

I preffer to turn off the music in games. But Being a DIK have nice music and it suits the game
