When it fits, why not. But mostly I have own background music.

Depends on the game, but most games I just turn it down to 20%. If the music is just there to fill the empty void I just rather turn it off and maybe put on some soft jazz or something more fitting on YouTube in the background.

Depends on the game. Small games I would not expected something elaborated in the musics and soundtracks. But big games I really expect the soundtrack to follow the story being told in the game!

Yes, games should have music so when people use royalty free music in their youtube/twitch you can ask them if they're a fan or Harem Hotel or other similar lewd game with iconic music.

I feel a little bad when the dev puts thought into their music choices and then I turn it off anyway because I prefer not to hear background music while playing but it's a toggle so I don't mind

As long as you can set the volume / mute I am all for it

I have no real problem with it - so long as I can mute it if I want to.

So something that has come to my attention, games sometimes have music. This often doesn't and at other times does fit the mood of the game.

I am curious to hear what other people have to say about music in games?

I would love to get your opinions why or why not in your posts below the poll!
It depends. Superhuman has music throughout the game, almost always perfect for helping set the tone that the dev is going for. Now & Then, on the other hand, comes close in all situations except its sex scenes. Some of its most personal, intimate scenes clash horribly with the blatantly porny music that gets used for them.

I love games with music. So I can mute them...

What I don't really like, last week I played a game with music, but the fuck sound was in the music, so without it, it got boring... Those fuck sounds sound be just in the sounds or voices whatever... But not in the background music...

One of the first things I do when starting a game is turn the music volume all the way down.

I'd prefer if the game has some music related to what is happening, chill music for everyday stuff, slow vibes music for sex scenes 👌

Honestly, some of my favourite games have music in them. I don't think that having music is what makes me like them so much, but I do believe it adds to the overall package.

The first thing I do when entering into a game is mute all sound, so for me there is no difference if it has music or not :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ... to me is like reading a novel but animated, just like a comic.

If there is an element of comedy in the game, then the music emphasizes it perfectly :D

Only if it's a very subtle music in the background, I overall don't like sounds in adult games, mostly because I find the sex sounds really awkward, which is also why I generally play without sound, or at least the voice sound off

Music is an amazing tone-setter and it shows extra effort on the developer's part. I think you should always look into adding at least ambient sounds. Completely muted games get boring too because silence is awkward.
