Yes but no stock music. If I hear the same rpgmaker music again I will be very angry online about it.

No music. I am trying to conspicuously play porn games....shhhhhhh

It's cool if the music fits the game but it's better if there are any sounds at all

Music is a crucial element in many games, providing an immersive and engaging experience also can elevate the mood, set the tone, and even guide the player's emotions and actions within the game.

Depends if it is fit or just slapped in there to be noise. The club music in A House in the Rift

I don't care as long as i have the option to turn off.
But a lot of devs (RPGM especially) don't add this option, or mix all the sound effects in one volume...
I agree sometimes lot of games don't have any sound gets kind of boring just clicking away

I don't play with sound
I generally give each game a chance and play with music and effects on. I almost always end up turning the music down or off, and the first time I hear an alarm clock (seriously, why is that so common? we use that sound to ANNOY ourselves into getting out of bed) I mute effects.

I really enjoy when games have good/fitting sound and music, but just putting some random music and effects at all different volumes only makes it worse.

For me it depends. If it is an adult game I usually play with no sound. If is a non adult I usually play with sound.

for porn games? fuck no, they always repeat 20 second royalty-free songs. for regular games? absolutely

One game had the opening to Neon Genesis Evangelion... don't see that very often.

I just get sick of reused music for certain scenes. music sometimes adds atmospheres but doesn’t usually do it for me

In amateur games, I turn the sound off completely. Why? Because of the extremely low level of musical material. I prefer jazz instrumental compositions from my own collection instead. So I don't need sound in these games.

Games that are just silent just kills immersion. Need some sounds and music is a good way to enhance the feel of the game.
