    I really enjoy when games have good/fitting sound and music, but just putting some random music and effects at all different volumes only makes it worse.

    I generally give each game a chance and play with music and effects on. I almost always end up turning the music down or off, and the first time I hear an alarm clock (seriously, why is that so common? we use that sound to ANNOY ourselves into getting out of bed) I mute effects.
