Yes, actually if it doesn't have any music at all it just bothers me, idc how bad the music even is (most of the time)

I answered yes, but I'm also aware of the limitations of development and don't want to hear the same stock songs endlessly. Some devs also have no idea how to actually handle music.

Like all things, it depends on the music. Although as a general rule, I think that the default music volume of most games it turned up way too loud.

I really don't care either way - I play with no sound a lot, but it doesn't really matter to me either way.

For me music in all games is a must, it adds to the experience. I'd be worried if a game didn't have music, lol. I'd instantly stop playing that game.

It is not indispensable but it certainly adds to the experience, when a game has no music I always start checking the settings or my system to see if is is muted in some way.

Monster Girl Quest Paradox has a great usage of its music, and that's saying a lot for me when I usually go to a game's settings, mute the entire music, and put on my own music.

Music in these games seem to be whatever the dev had laying around on loop. I have to mute it most of the time.

They should have good music. What I mean:
  • For VNs, I'm a fast reader. If scenes are so short that I've read through them before the music can actually start to have an effect, it's useless
  • If it's the same license-free loop we've heard in 5465169+ other games, leave it out
  • One scene has music, scenes change, and the same song starts playing from the start? Might as well drop it.
  • Fighting a boss and the same whimsical atmospheric loop from the previous environment is still playing? Oh please…
And sadly, yes, those were all things I've experienced in games.

when it has great music that suits the game, thats the best

but even just basic music is better than none

I always play with the sound turned off and have music playing in the background, so it doesn’t matter to me

Depends on the scene
for sex scenes i don't find it neccesary
but in the game being a dik i like the music that is added
the big step to,only downside is that when the music starts your almost at the end of the current version

Not every game requires music; in fact, music can sometimes spoil the atmosphere—such as when a track is ill-suited to the events unfolding on screen. Yet, the opposite is often true: in many games, music is an integral part of the experience, lending it a distinctive and enjoyable character. When music is composed specifically for a game, it creates a unique signature that sets the title apart, ensuring that hearing the music later will evoke fond memories of the time spent playing it.

I say yes knowing full well that i'll mute it immediately, or at least turn it down almost all the way.
