I have to agree with a lot of people here, being taboo is a huge selling point, and there is also the long standing relationship you've built throughout the years that you just can't get with a stranger. but if we're talking a large age gap, like younger sister or daughter then I like the idea of like, molding them into your idea of a perfect woman, why bother finding someone when you can make your own? the love is already there just gotta twist it a bit.

hmm true true, It's honestly hard to say, but if I was a part of a different family I think I could see myself being interested, though I'm not sure, It's not like I'm against incest outside of fiction, do what you like as long as nobody gets hurt, I just think my current family is undesirable lol.

I can't believe the proportion of games on here that center on incest. Even on mainstream sites like pornhub. I'm not shaming anyone, but why is it so popular? Is it mainly for the thrill of something illicit?

As someone who likes corruption themes, well, why not? I'm all for any kind of setting. I'm not actively pursuing it, but neither am I steering away from it.

For me? I'm simply greedy and want my character to do it with every female in the game. Also, the taboo it self doesn't do much for me, it depends on my overall need to "get into it" and that is attachment to character(s). So incest didn't really matter to be, but now its kinda of a bonus in storys/games.

But to answer on if it relates to people actually wanting to do it irl. While i can't speak for all, for me, No. Just like how a lot of books and storys for female audiences has a lot of monsters and rape, does not mean they actually want to inact on it.

I, in general, can separate and know the difference between reality and fiction very well and automatically. Something I know a lot are unable to do today.


So again, incest is just an added bonus and i need to like the characters (and story hopefully) enough.

Well... Why is a Kink popular?
I think, if you are questioning one Kink, you are questioning all Kinks.

I (for example) can not understand Kinks like "Scat", "Feets" etc. These Kinks exist... I tolerate them, because they don't harm anyone. But I don't need to participate in something like that.

"Incest = Illicit" is a little bit too simple. In parts of the World, it's not uncommon.
But in that Parts, where it's "illicit" I think it's the Taboo thing, that appeals many interested people. The forbidden Fruit, that can taste so sweet.

Incest is a kink I discovered I had a few years ago and it's quickly shot to the top of my list. I think I was on reddit and stumbled across a subreddit of screenshots of text message conversations and it blossomed from there.

I have an older sister and the idea repulses me IRL... but the games, videos, and comics I've been consuming are great.
