How does everyone keep track of all the games you've played?

I use gamelist. There are other people building another better manager, but its not done yet

I have a notepad with the ones i want to check later/again . With links and some notes about the games

All the games i ended up liking are stored up in my memory card. Once i found them enjoyable, they will never be deleted.

I put them in a folder and play them 1 by one, when finished I will change folder name to [waiting for update]

I use

What I like:

  • It's super fast.
  • It checks for Fuck95 game updates automatically at start or you can check them by clicking on the Refresh button.
  • It has a comprehensive filtering system: Tag (add custom), Label (add custom), Archived, Custom, Exe State, Finished, Installed, , Rating, Rating, Score, Status, , Updated.
  • List and Gallery view.
  • You can add any game manually.

When I finish a game I delete it and keep only the shortcuts and saves in folders as a backup: Saves, Installed, Played, Completed/Abandoned, Shitty games

Here's a thread with more game managers:

The best game manager to keep track and get update notifications. Post yours too.

ive been blessed with a really great memeory so i remember every game i played if i liked it the genre it was and the tags i liked from it etc

I leave them installed.
It isn't that hard to remember the good ones. Most of the games produced have absolutely unattractive models. Of those that do use attractive renders, many (Diary of my Perversion comes to mind) force you to take the "literally gross" ones as LIs or partners. (Yes, "literally gross" is my opinion of them. You do you.)
That leaves only a handful that I have to actively watch for.

Frankly, I'm burned out at this point. Seems like the majority of the game makers share their tastes and fetishes, which has made them identically unappealing.
Best of luck to you.

Once I'm done with a game, I delete everything except the save file, then mark it as (done) as a suffix.
Then I put all of those into one separate folder.
When an update drops I just download the game again and don't even need to move the save back over.

In f95 I bookmark those I've played and want to be alert when they are updated and I put in "watched" those I want to play

i don't really, i just love it when i got back and find the games i followed was abandoned or added content that i hate, money down the drain, nice, love when that happened.

I use to just bookmark by if I liked the game or not, but just found about update checker tools from another thread so I am gonna give that a go.

unless with extremly bad memory, one should be able to do so with just memory.

I remember most of the games I've played, and if I don't and I see it again then i get to enjoy it all over again

it's not just which games, it's also which version...
I guess I can always check my downloads folder?

I don't because what I'm interested in will change over time. There are a bunch of games I've played in the past that I have no interest in playing anymore.

I don't keep a list. I just kind of remember the gist and hope that an update will remind me. If it's a great game, you will remember it
