How does everyone keep track of all the games you've played?

Note file grouping games (and version played) into how many stars I'd give out of 5.

Erm, by keeping them?
I only delete the crap and my memory still works.

I don't, I just leave a like. Occasionally, I browse the completed games list and find a game I've liked. Nice little surprise.

I usually just absent mindedly download games only to find that I have save files already which then triggers a memory of what the game actually was and if it is worth playing still

There are very few games I’d miss if I forget them. Most games are just… interchangeable in their mediocrity. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Those, I usually just keep downloaded and keep updated. Bookmarks also help.

I download them in one folder then I get all the mods (I'm a big fan of incest mods) and what not and decide if I like it. Then I move the game to my regular "hidden" folder and then if it's a really great game I move it to my speacial folder. I do think that I'll have to go through my games some day and separate them to Complete/Abandoned/Incomplete folders.

I just check the folder where I put revious ones

When I try out a game, I make sure to index it in different notepads depending on if I have no interest in the game, a "meh" category, and finally an active update one.

I always make sure that I include the latest version, where I found it, and maybe some notes to help me remember what it was about.

What about everyone else? What do you all do, if anything?

I don't keep track. If a game was good enough to not be deleted, it is in my games folder. Otherwise, I couldn't tell you what I played 2 months ago.

I keep different folders for different major kinks, type the kinks next to each game title folder, and have Completed and Ongoing sub folders. Won't play a game's updates unless it was good enough to remember. The rest I will check back in the year 2050 when they eventually get completed or abandoned and download the final version

honestly im still struggling to figure this out, sometimes i open games just to realise i played like 20 min of it awhile ago and ditched it

Just Folders. Keep the saved games inside the folder with the game name and latest version, rename folder after play with latest version and keep just the saved games.

Why would you keep track of this stuff.
Just go by your memory, it's not that hard.

There are a handful of dev's that I always keep track of and look out for their games. Other than that I base it off whether or not I can remember the game.

I wait until a game is officially finished before playing it. if it is good I play until the end without waiting for an update if it is bad I simply delete it.
