As mentioned I don't live alone, I in fact live with a lovely married couple. The wife more or less ignores it, but he's relentless in chiding me for my gaming/viewer habits.

Yeah i aggre, the awakening is the only one i like for voiced vn, but the remake doesnt voiced or yet idk

In Japanese vn I mostly like it. In english most females (Its probably the same va) sound like a fat white chick.

Some are voiced quite good not gonna lie but it seems that there are not many of them as it's costly and time consuming

I like how persona does it, the initial word or sound is voice but not the whole sentence.

feels like whenever i encounter VA in most VNs it's always the same 3 actors, trying way too hard to sound sexy lol
or it's looped audio from somewhere else for a scene. No thanks

I don't mind one if it's properly voiced and the lines aren't bad but there are certain types of games where they just do not fit in. Fallout 4, as an example. RPGs with created characters shouldn't have a set voice like that. If it's something like Witcher 3 where the main character has a clear personality and backstory of his own then I think it can work.

AI will develop the story and the renders much quicker than the voice. Soon players spend time making sure mom-son-sister scene has correct number of fingers.

They're already at the point where they're better than phoned in performances, at the very least. There's a mod for RE4 Remake that replaces the english voice with AI-produced lines with the original RE4 Ada's voice. It sounds way better, imo. I don't know how the voice director approved those takes.

It's not that bad, it's more of a "playful ribbing" sort of branding, but I try to be considerate about it all the same.

I tend to mute any audio for a VN. Just isn't for me.
