discussion Animation VS Stills in Games

Animations are pretty much a must for me.

I love animations in VNs but in text game I prefer still images because it works better for imaginations.

I can tolerate stills if they're good or used effectively. If the artist is not experienced or has no budget it makes sense.

Its not like i wont play a game with still images, but animated is so much better.

The more animated it is the higher quality it feels like for me but I think that a mix is best since stills are easier to produce and that will help to actually get the updates out.

I think it depends on the quality of the animation, if it looks terrible I think I'd rather it just be a still.

I always prefered animation in games, but better quality. Bad quality animation is worse that not having animation I think

same if the Animations is good i will like the game

So long as the animation is well done, I do prefer games with animation.
