animation, especially good ones add a lot to a game and elevate it up far above where it otherwise would be, eg some of the animations in thirty days are so smooth. that said i dont mind games with no animation and i wonder how much more content there would be in my favourite games if the didnt need to do those animations as they seem like they take a long ass time to produce

Many times the animations force you to go at a very slow pace and it becomes very tiresome to wait for them to finish. Still renders on the other hand are a tool to create content more easily and can be very varied and stimulating.

I think most guys will agree that animation it would be better than simple image that's for sure but it's not easy to make animation entire story so atleast just for fuck scene to be animation it would be a must for me...it get pretty boring just images and nothing else without any voice also a big downside for me could be the censored part.

the very first cartoon porn I ever saw was batman and catwoman, this was over 25 years ago, a good still image can be just as good as a good animation. I think some of the newer animations though...specifically rational chaos was pretty fire

Personally, animation is nice when done right, but so much of it is just really jerky looking and distracting to me. On the other hand, high quality uncensored stills at least look good.

I prefer that games have animation, but there's still some non-animated games that include gorgeous artwork and/or voice acting

It really depends if the animations are done well. Many are not which just makes it look weird.

Stills are fine for VNs since they generally are more about the writing than the art, but as technology advances, good quality animation becomes more and more essential for games to be competitive in the market. The old two-still in and out becomes less acceptable as we go. For many if not most of these products, quality animation is the primary key to popularity.

I ignore basically any game without animation and quickly ditch games with bad animation. There's so many other options out there. Why bother with stills for porn?

I prefer still just because animations just bloat the game.
It still bogles my mind that I can play some games for 5 hours and the game is less than 1 gig
And some games that I play for 30 min are 3 gigs

In most cases i prefer images. Animations slow down games by eating too many ressources and end with slideshows. I also prefer to skip most sex scenes (i like the pussy hunt in harem games, not the male protagonists) and skipping pictures until the dick is gone is easier then skipping multiple animations that tend to crash a game if you skip them too fast.

A good game doesn't need animations, even better if it has good voices, a game can be shit and have good animations.
