Deleted my previous account (p4) on here out sheer stupidity. The temptation is too strong so I guess I'm back on the grind.
Good luck on your journey, bro.

Well, looks like we can't access any of the daily images threads atm, not even the public one.

What happened recently? I saw some chats about the ban of photorealistic stuff on F95, then a few days later it's banned here too? I'm not mad, just didn't expect those two things to happen seeing as most of the people in lurking chat seemed against it.

I don't know anything about F95, but what was banned here was exclusively photorealistic AI images depicting minors. Basically because... well, I'll be honest and straightforward about this: it's basically a substitute for illegal content on the dark web using legal loopholes. It's not worth risking the entire forum just for the morbid interest that kind of content might generate.

I don't want to sound rude, but please, everyone, read Jack's post carefully, because I've already seen people saying that we'll ban AI games, even though he clearly and explicitly states that this isn't the case (unless it conflicts with the first rule).

Probably a lot of activitu took up in m+ and prestige with image creation, lots of threads, then someone had white kniight a break down, reported their concerns to a file hosting site for the website and the owner got a message that "get rid of this now or there will be problems". Alternatively they ran a scan due to full content being available (instead of bieng sharded, probably more expensive) and got a false positive which is also a problem and it led to a message, either way - it causes a disturbance in the force.

Learned a lot about different legislation and ways to stay available as well as with file storage as a thought exercise through it even if it turned out to be moot.

Honestly, I have no issues seeing photo-realistic AI images going away. It's very close to straight porn and there are sites for that if that's your inclination.

What concerns me is "semi photo-realistic AI". That's awfully vague and opens the door to inconsistent moderation and the potential for a moderator to use it as a cudgel against a member they don't like.

Just eat the pizza. You fat
Thank you I am fat and I'm not upset you pointed that out.

I'm also American and well you know supersize my shit as well.

Yes and no—after all, up until mid-March, many people were still free due to holidays, vacations, and so on. Now that it’s April, we’re fully immersed in work, studies, and responsibilities, so we have less time to spend here.
Bah....I rarely celebrate any holidays except Thanksgiving and X-Mas. Just another day for me.

I've seen quite a few members that haven't commented in months.

I think it might be the latter. I'm pretty sure members+ was entirely meant to help mitigate the former issue, but guess there's no point making assumptions.

Oh, I understand that fully. I wouldn't want this place shutting down either.

Correct cause certain games in members+ use semi photo-realistic images as well not just A.I.

I get the new rules but this site has flipped flopped so many times, and lost a lot of content over these decisions.

We had veterans leave the site and delete their creations before as well.

I would normally agree, but then again, you're talking about us.

@dimodamo try adding words like 'unnatural' 'monstrous' and/or 'mutant'

It was the third option that was implemented to get access but it's to damn easy nowadays.

At one point you needed a certain amount of posts, and the coin cost was triple what it is now.

The casino doesn't help and was abused by many new users as well.

With the current mods it's far less of a concern. But who will the mods be in 6 months? A year? Two years?

In my experience on other forums, the mods may come and go but the rules are forever. Having poorly defined standards now can come back and bite you in the ass later.
