Anyone else feeling that chatgpt is undermining the entire further education system. Haven't written a single essay or exam without using it I love it so much

I think it's going to be a huge problem in the future for sure. The real point of stuff like essays is to think critically and come to conclusions. I don't think using chat gpt is bad necessarily for help write stuff and its fantastic for research, but I do kinda worry about the next generation growing up and having a computer do all the thinking for them.

AI prevents people thinking and so people can be controlled much easier. What if one day AI decide itself what to do and not submit to people who tell AI what to do?

LLM (and in future AI) may turn out how calculators, computers and the internet have: a handy tool that nearly everyone can have access to that has several good and bad points.

It could also turn out that AI will totally pass us up and we'll be left with ... what?

It was indeed exciting yesterday -- T-Storm warnings, then tornado warnings and then for God's sake a dust storm warning (pics were taken yesterday)- the air got positively crunchy - but no trees down near the house so all is well.
