Not that kind of storm, unfortunately. Thunderstorms, high winds and tornados have been tearing through the US.

A few of the users I know here have been affected, including me and my family. Thankfully nothing too bad this year where I live.

Glad to see you are still kicking, even if your death was exaggerated in my mind. Sorry to hear you are dealing with storms in your area, I can't imagine having that extra kind of stress to deal with. Speaking of which, it just started raining here like a MF.

I do a video share each friday in this channel and my dedicated M+ thread, and the videos all share a theme because it's fun (and lets people who don't want to see the content avoid it). It is completely separate from Mime's daily themes, but there is a chance that they could line up. Hasn't happened yet though.

For sure man, modern boardgames are the cats meow. It used to be my main hobby and I had over 500+ boardgames in my collection. Whittled it down to just under 100 currently. My most played game in recent years is Catan, as my kids are obsessed with it.

When I was deciding which racing game to get between Need for Speed: Unbound and Forza, my son thought I would enjoy Need for Speed more (as he played both), so I got that one and I really enjoyed it. Didn't really care for the gangster theme much, but the game play is really good.

I think it's going to be a huge problem in the future for sure. The real point of stuff like essays is to think critically and come to conclusions. I don't think using chat gpt is bad necessarily for help write stuff and its fantastic for research, but I do kinda worry about the next generation growing up and having a computer do all the thinking for them.
