I do. For the most part, but I like taking a look at the game *before* I support, and not everyone offers good demos.
I agree with this. I try to support those that I feel are heading in a good direction or have consistent updates and take feedback. It's tough to support a developer when you don't know where they're at in development or if they'll just stop updating the game for months at a time. I know they all have their own lives and that takes precedence, but hard to ask players to support without having that solid foundation first. The few games I've enjoyed I've supported. But the vast majority of the games feel they are worked on for one update and then disappear. I use most of the downloads as a demo of sorts and if the game is decent (visual, story, structure) then I'll find the creator and sub/donate. But the sheer amount of games available just doesn't make it feasible to buy every game I want to have a look at.
This more or less sums it up.This is just my opinion, and its just how i see things and how they were done ages ago when these games first start popping up.
But i don't subscribe to them at all, not until you have completed a game and then i would pay a certain amount.
I fall into the mind set of not paying Triple AAA title games to people that make porn games, just not how i see things and i cant seem to justify paying a subscription for games that are incomplete and if they ever make it to being complete.
Lack of flexibility with my funds. If I could afford to, I'd be supporting all the ones I like again.
Guess I gotta knock over a bank. Anybody wanna crew up with me?![]()
