Why do you think there is so much censorship on other platforms, knowing that they are pixels and not real people in games?

I don't think many people care but the small subset that do are very vocal and actually are willing to take actions like reporting. Most people just mind their own business and get on with their lives.

Fanfic sites have just as filthy or even filthier content but since it's in word form and not graphical form it tends to get overlooked or excused easier. Images have a more immediate emotional impact.
Probably just easier for human reviewers to catch - patreon for example will still ban your ass for loli fics, but it'll take its sweet time.

Advertisers not supporting porno sites, especially with spicy content, is straight forward and easy to understand, so I won't say anything more; but in regards to payment processors, I'm told that, in addition to the higher rates of fraud and chargebacks there was something in the Patriot Act? That may or may not have expired? And something about sexual consent laws for hornography in California? Something about pornhub and visa as a codefendant? Fuck, I've only heard this stuff third hand, but it's fucked all around.

Easy: laws and payment processor. There only needs to one country that is strict on something and you need to be careful to not be sued. That and payment processors will just shut you off for just pornography (unless you're big enough).

There is currently a general crusade going on in America at the moment against anything some people disagree with. Even Pornhub is getting flack and due to some changes in some states is no longer available. I read that in Texas there was a sudden uptick in searches for VPN's after their new law went into effect.

Man, the socials medias have created a lot of ppl with mc syndrome, the worst thing about that is that they think they have the right to control what others do and then go around "figthing the injustices of the world" for their own ego and then attack what is easiest for them to get fast "moral points".

I strongly believe that censorship is something that big companies, organizations, and platforms like to take advantage of. They will censor anything and everything that goes against what society is for. Pixiv and Patreon are now two of those people, not allowing certain games and banning creators who post them. I hope subscribestar never joins into the censorship party, they're one of the only ones left that still allow the more taboo content

because it is a legal gray area (for the US, the rarely enforced obscenity law from the 1890's) or for certain countries which do seem to be enforcing their more strict laws (australia, germany)

So far as I know it is because of the payment processors or possibly Visa/Mastercard/Amex themselves. They have total control of the financial systems so they impose what they want to.

the payment processors are required by the countries they do business to follow their financial laws, and could be in trouble themselves if they don't enforce their laws by proxy with all business and consumers.

Most people out there feel offended, and they don't want people like us to enjoy ours thing.

If they go after pixel murder the same way they do pixel loli then a lot of COD players will be going to prison for a long time

I wonder if they need to survey all criminals to check if these games led to crime??
It is a well known fact that all criminals have played Such a Sharp Pain. Its only a matter of time before we are all behind bars.

This question is pretty simple;
People think these pixels are the gateway to the real thing even tho there is no, none, nothing evidence thats the case.
It's not like people can defend this publicly because they you will be seen as one & your public reputation would be shattered. Good luck doing anything publicly after that.

is it what is it. This will probably never ever change. Highly doubt it. & You will never change somebodies mind about it.
Well if you really want to change it you could do like Steven crowder

Close minded people always attack others that don't share their beliefs. Whether its bigots targeting people based on race of sexuality, or virtue signalers attacking those that like more taboo content. It all comes from the same place, just different parts of society.

The platform owners of real porn don't want to lose out on money that goes into drawings, animations aka fictional stuff.

some people unironically cant differentiate fiction from reality, thats why you see people all the time defending pixels on a screen like real people and treating real people like pixels on a screen
