2 Years of Service
Hello. I'm sending out a post about help with fixing a pixel drawing to make it feel more natural. I think I've realized gamefreak used to make their pixel art facing away from the camera for a reason (necessity+the bonus of some other things).
ANYWAY, for about a week (and I plan to go as long as I can), I've been making 2 nsfw sprites per 1 sfw sprite (Editing) of pokemon trainer sprites (Original, naked, slave (just a collar)) (It is a conscious decision to keep shoes on most sprites). When I've done enough, I'll release them all here, or wherever I can so people can use them. That said they won't be super high quality, but they'll make a good framework for actual pixel artists I hope, and perhaps they can send them back fixed and improved.
However for today, I am just asking for help bettering a sprite. I'm making a sprite for Penny, and I'm having a hard time with it (This is the second one that I made from shrinking an image and then giving it touch ups, the rest are from existing sprites from pokemon showdown index). I think the issue is that she's front facing and standing straight, so she kind of looks gangly, or maybe not. It looks okay, but my biggest issue is the face and the glasses. I'm asking for someone to fix her as much as you can. I'll credit you when I release as many as I can.
My design goal is to be as accurate to the character's personality in the pose, and staying as accurate to what we know of the character. For penny, I don't think we even know a relative breast size, so I've been considering medium. I've also considered both large and small, but neither seems correct to me from all the images ive seen of her. Here is what I have.
(Also unrelated, I do plan to use these to try to make an nsfw pokemon adventure, where you catch humans, but that's a big maybe because what I have is ambitious and i've touched rpgmaker for maybe 5 minutes and that's the entirety of game creation experience I have, I have also done some rendering on DAZ but not much, and it's unrelated.)
This is my worst, so looking for help. Also, I have not done much shading on this. I should say I'm new to pixel art, and honestly, i'm barely doing pixel art now, I'm just editing others' pixel art.
Another issue I have right now is that I don't have a clothed version for this.
