Most make nothing. In order to make anything, you have to be good and shamelessly shill yourself.

Most don't earn anything, or not much.

But there are many who do make money! There are even companies behind it. I did a small design job for a company that made Ren'Py games. It's not easy, but it's not impossible.

So how much does an average Dev make on their games, is it even worth it to go through all the hassle of making a game?
