Some games have “Succes” or “Achievements” to do during the game.
Personally, I like them, they add a “plus” and encourage you to see all the scenes or play the game 100% (depending on the game).

Absolutely irrelevant if they dont unlock stuff for ng+
I dont play to collect icons or galeries and i dont replay for missing icons or pictures/scenes. Only the story matters.

Don't really care. OK in Steam games, but not a thing to care about in adult games.

In normal games they occasionally pose an interesting challenge. In AVNs however, unless they are the only indicator of what I haven't seen yet, I don't really care.

I always thought of achievements as a guide for what would be possible to do (outside of the beaten path) in certain type of games like open world or immersive sims (f.e. in Dishonored, blink inside someone to kill him, I never thought the engine could allow for that). If so, I find them interesting and a challenge in case I like the game, otherwise I don't care.
For AVNs though, I cannot see a use for achievements with the current state of the art, as you can just choose between a small set of predefined paths. It would be more akin to a log, and for that, you already have the story.

Personally I think they're best used in games where there's an actual gameplay element, especially if they in turn give some kind of mechanical bonus. In most VNs they're at best little more than a nice bonus.

they can be really pointless when you get stuff like "launch the game" or shit like that

as long as they arnt too in your face. I like getting achievements, but I know I will never get them all so if they arnt too obvious about "you have x of X left" is good

Achivements... IDK maybe if you want different endings? Only on steam tho

I think it's interesting, because it encourages you to play again and see what choices you have to change in order to unlock everything.

It is fine but not really that much of a draw or incentive. For some reason I am more of a completionist when it comes to non-adult games

Most games here very straight and choices often is between to see or not some hot staff. I don't see a reason why achivments should be a thing.

Often poorly used so they are pointless most of the time. They can be nice if they actually add something to the game though

nice touch when the are in game, especially like all those optional/hidden stuff, but not all games need them

In Steam games it's funny when they have "you really fucked up" achievements.

They can be a great guide as to what to do (next steps like setup coal power), or what is possible (push enemy off cliffs) but maybe didn't know, or it can be a grind (kill 10, 50, 100, 1000 of a thing). I like the first two, the last one is something I avoid. In adult games, I find them pointless. I play once, get the girls I like the most, and then move on. I did/didn't kiss that girl because I do/don't like her, I don't need a achievement to push me on way or another.

In my World of Warcraft days I've once been called "Mr. No Life Achievement Guy". Not that I had the most, just that i went for the weirdest :p Unless they are not fun to get I'll most likely (mostly) get them. But that's for regular games. In porn games I'm only interested in the story and characters. And the actual porn too, on occasion. :sneaky:

Achievements that unlock some (non related) bonus material is a plus for me. For instance, making the 'nicer' choice a couple of times unlocks some content that shows the total opposite .

I like when there are mini games that you win to get the naughty action. I guess I feel like I worked for it.

This is why vns are the best, gameplay should ideally be kept to a minimum. Achievements encourage me to have to actually engage with the game
