Not a huge fan. Depends on execution, obviously, but most tsunderes just come off as brats who get away with a huge amount of garbage in their introductory scenes. They swear, shout, even hit people, and it's presented as comedic, with little to no immediate comeuppance for their actions. I don't tend to like character archetypes that annoy the hell out of me on first meeting, nor ones that seem to get away with massive amounts of undue irritation or harm, so tsunderes struggle to impress me right out the gate.
Of course, if it's done well I can like them. I'm not talking about a tsundere being revealed as a tortured soul with a tragic backstory that leads her to push everyone decent out of her life — that can work, but there's still the underlying issue of her being really annoying. I'm talking more about taming her to curtail her worst traits and most grating habits. Curb her violence, teach her not to shout or assume the worst from the word go, actually retaliate if she starts raising hell so she gets it through her thick head that her actions have consequences, and you're not a punching bag.
Probably one of the most irritating tropes around tsunderes, for me, isn't even the fault of the girl herself; it's the MC. This comes up more in Japanese works than western ones, but there's this bizarre trend for MCs to be totally fine with girls being outright hostile to him for the pettiest of reasons or the least understandable of miscommunications. He gets shouted at, berated, put down, or outright knocked into next week, and his response is little more than a world-weary, "Man, that girl. Whatever am I to do with her?" Then she does it again later, because it was so funny the first time, and it's more of the same on his end. He's got no spine until maybe right before the end, and he just takes the abuse all the way up to that point, assuming he ever reaches his limit at all. Sometimes he just keeps accepting whatever she dishes out until, and even past, the end of the game, and I'm left wondering whether he's the first human invertebrate.
It's not a terrible trope, but there are too many things about it, and surrounding it, for me to say I like it for itself. It has to be done really well, or I'll merely tolerate it in favour of paying attention to the other tropes and characters I actually like.
