I have always kept the lewd games secret. it's pretty taboo and not really a good ice breaker.

if so, how was the topic approached and what was the reaction?

The idea of meeting someone with a shared interest and playing together is appealing.

I view this very different to watching porn together. i consider watching porn with a partner is fairly normal. but the games/VN's is a much more private thing.

I could never show this to my girlfriend. Don't get me wrong, she is quirky and has some "smol" fetishes of her own, but after almost 8 years of relationship I learned she kind of dislikes everything I like. Things like: rock music, video games, staying up late, different cartoons and series (she hates Breaking Bad for this reason) etc.
