I have a categorically negative attitude. I don't understand why you should disfigure your body. If I meet a man/woman with a piercing on his/her face, then a priori I will have a negative attitude towards him/her.

I think they serve a useful function... as early warning signs. Any person who has piercings isn't likely to be one I'd like to interact with, so I appreciate the heads-up. The only acceptable option is to have your ears pierced if you want to wear earrings (if that even counts as a 'piercing'), but even then that can range from tasteful to tacky to straight up deranged.

Personally not a fan, but similar with tattoos a small amount I can overlook. Small/Medium amount of ear piercings I think are my limit honestly, every other piercing location/amount is not it for me-

Piercings aren’t really my thing, but to each their own. If you like them and they make you feel good about yourself, go for it. Everyone has their own style, and there’s nothing wrong with expressing yourself.
