Should i play the first one before playing this one?

I haven't played the first one and I had some questions when I started this game. But I think you can do without the first one and still have a good understanding of what is going on. Some things are explained and some things don't need and explanation.
I really loved Our Island and it was really sad when 13 put the game on hold but after seeing this game and story so far - please more 13.

First of all, I fell in love with Kit. Beautiful girl and a wonderful character.
I really like the school setting with detention and health class was really good as a theme.

Mixed feelings with the size of updates - while updates are published faster this way it is sometimes annoying when you have one ingame day and it's over way too fast. Otherwise it is necessary when you don't have big time jumps and want to tell the story within a certain time frame.

I feel like 13 has really been flirting with or (hopefully) foreshadowing content that I believe he said he was going to avoid in this game, especially with the appearances of the Little Angels last time and some of the scenes with Olivia. She even had Insexual Awakening on the TV. Its probably just wishful thinking, but man does it feel like a tease!

I started the first game a while back but finished what was available and never went back. I'm glad to see this, because it reminded me to go finish the first game and try this one too! Nice work with what I've played of your games so far, _13_!

Another great game in 13's catalogue the continuity from the fosters is great, though it would have been nice to have a save import be cannon instead. But hey I get why that path wasn't taken, with the number of endings in the first game it would have taken a lot more work/time to get off the ground, and the chosen route doesn't cut anyone out, which is great. Loving the character models as always, I see a lot of potential here.

It's nice to see that the female characters didn't mutate unrealistically large breasts as they grew older. Not common to find games where the adult females are on the natural or flatter side.

After playing the first game to the end, I quite enjoy finding out how MC and his family fared after the events of the first game. Finding he has a good job and a very loving family life. His interactions with his students are great.

Great game. I had the issue with black screen during animations. Turning the movie sound channel up slightly really does work.
