I mute music on most games, there are a few exceptions like Eternum and Superhuman, among others. But the background sound and voice I usually leave on.

I mute almost every adult game I play most of the time the sounds just aren't good and if there is VC it just feels weird to me unless it's really good.

I only lower the volume of the music or mute it if the voices are very annoying

I mute music, but not voices usually. They're rare anyway and I appreciate the effort of voicing the characters.

I tend to mute games on start up, most of them tend not to have music I care for and voice acting is pretty rare for these games

I mute all sounds. Only game i didn't mute was milfy city, loved the 80's esk music

Only games I play with sound are Eternum and My Bully is My Lover. Sound is like 60% of what makes Eternum so good

Voices/Moanings mostly muted, but music can be a improvement for me in games. Games like Eternum/Summers Gone or City of broken Dreamers are doing a good job there. Also like many of the music mods Koga3 does, too.

I like music and sound in games, in adult visual novels though rarely do you get anything better than stock sounds and royalty free music. Does anyone else just read them like a book and listen to their own music? My imagination is good, but some of the adult novels are so far out i'm just along for the ride.
i also feel like adult vn's just have extremely loud music to as well as being stock

I mute everything always, this way I can have youtube music playing behind it without issues.

i dont think i have ever tried Eternum, i think the only game i tried listening to was rebirth because it said something about it being better with volume but i did not care for it.

I turn off the music but I'm a big fan of sounds and moaning during sex

Turning the effects & co down and the music off, with some exceptions of course.
But there is nothing worse then startup/menu music, which you cant turn off, specially if they kill your ears.

Sounds can be 50% of the experience. I haven't played a game yet where it's degrading or harmful to the overall experience.

I miss in most games tbh, it's such a great addition if it fits the current scene.

i don't remember the game but there was one i played that certain scenes would still play even if you hit mute all in the game menu, it sorta turned into a sudo horror game for me cause it scared me to death every time it would happen.

Good sound enhances the games, I don't mind. Just as long as it's not at 400% volume

Sound is a must for me

I also play muted. I guess I don't know why other than I've never really enjoyed music or sound effects in a game

Always muted except if it voiced

I don't like it, I leave everything on mute.
