LewdCorner Update
For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward.
I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward.

I like having music and simple sounds. Voices not so much. The absolute worst though is when someone rips audio from a porn movie and puts it in sex scenes. It always sounds so bad!
It is as if the silence heightens the experience, bringing me back to a simpler time, a time when self flagellation had to be done in the dark corners, in the dead of night, in the conspicuous long showers, the constant the risk of being caught. Oh those exiting times. /jk
Never felt a need for background music/sound in these types of games or regular porn. Not something i notice in normal games too much either, though there the absence of music/sound is far more noticeable. Its probably just a result of personal habit i guess.
Voiced games stink! Maybe the Japanese ones not so much, but the voice over in the inceton games, for example, are awful!
Ambience sound is enriching
Moans and sex sounds, if implemented right, are a plus
I typically mute pretty quickly, but there are some games are worth keeping on. I found the intro to "The Last Oasis Before Chastity", to be really engaging in large part due to the music.
I appreciate sound but if it is not to the standard I expect then i'll mute. BUT I can't play with no sound so i'll usually put some hot ASMR in the background
Japanese VNs are the only ones that I don't mute entirely. Western VNs have an issue with voice acting sounding like it's been done with family members in the next room, trying not to be overheard.
I don't like voice audio, but do typically enjoy a lot of the music that is put in. An exception is overly obnoxious jumpscare levels of music when you launch a game, I HATE that. A few games I've played have thematic music that really complement what's going on in the story
