the moment u open the game, forget to mute and then ur ears get blasted by some weird musik always so nice

Im okay with music as long as it fits the atmosphere as for other sounds it doesnt matter to me

Pretty much as others said, pull down the audio sliders to low every time I try new AVN, had too many cases of eardrum shattering game sound levels.

Big fan of music in games that match the atmosphere. Not a fan of ear-rape on the launch of a new game.

I like having music and simple sounds. Voices not so much. The absolute worst though is when someone rips audio from a porn movie and puts it in sex scenes. It always sounds so bad!

not all game has nice BGM. once every blue moon, i came across one.

Depends on the music but most time i mute. Other sounds i often have on if its follow the story and sounds god.

Muted always.

It is as if the silence heightens the experience, bringing me back to a simpler time, a time when self flagellation had to be done in the dark corners, in the dead of night, in the conspicuous long showers, the constant the risk of being caught. Oh those exiting times. /jk

Never felt a need for background music/sound in these types of games or regular porn. Not something i notice in normal games too much either, though there the absence of music/sound is far more noticeable. Its probably just a result of personal habit i guess.

Voiced games stink! Maybe the Japanese ones not so much, but the voice over in the inceton games, for example, are awful!
Ambience sound is enriching
Moans and sex sounds, if implemented right, are a plus

I typically mute pretty quickly, but there are some games are worth keeping on. I found the intro to "The Last Oasis Before Chastity", to be really engaging in large part due to the music.

I appreciate sound but if it is not to the standard I expect then i'll mute. BUT I can't play with no sound so i'll usually put some hot ASMR in the background

MUTE, unless it's Night Driver then I turn it up.

If we're talking music in the background of the game, then I'm all for it. Feels too quiet when there's nothing as I'm clicking away.

If it's sounds during sex.. like cheap porn shit.. well..

Voices and effects are always muted, sometimes some quiet background music plays.
(I hate it when the games start at full volume!)

Japanese VNs are the only ones that I don't mute entirely. Western VNs have an issue with voice acting sounding like it's been done with family members in the next room, trying not to be overheard.

Also most music isn't to my taste.

For me it is unnecessary I usually turn it off in all games

I don't like voice audio, but do typically enjoy a lot of the music that is put in. An exception is overly obnoxious jumpscare levels of music when you launch a game, I HATE that. A few games I've played have thematic music that really complement what's going on in the story

It really depends on who's made it. Generally I do the same, mute that is, but some games actually has pretty decent BGM that I honestly don't mind

Always try to give it a shot, but 90% of the time it just gets grating as the music loops over and over.
