The Souls approach, only for boss battles. Carefully crafted atmosphere is far better than hearing the same song over and over again.
Definitely this. It's difficult enough to select a fitting music piece for a scene, but even harder not to annoy the player. I'm sure the vast majority just mute the music.

this is something I don't have feelings either way about as I always have the volume on my pc disabled.

NO SOUND and NO VOICE ACTING!

I just think its way more interesting to imagine what characters sound like and the music the devs usualy put is free copyright garbage..

I once got spooked because there was a knock at the door sound effect in the game and I was sure it was in my house

I really don't like music in porn games, but the sound effects can be pretty cool.
Just, if there is voice acting, it has to be all the time and for all the characters. it completely goes out of the game when it's sporadic..

If it is good music, why not? Summer's Gone is a perfect example of music done right. Great songs right there in their own right!

A good score that underlines the atmosphere is great. Gets me into the game

This can be tricky! I really appreciate the music in most games, but I usually play without sound because I share my space with others. It could get a bit awkward otherwise, lol!

I don't know any porn game that has a good sountrack or needs one. I usually play these games on mute and they still get the job done.

It's kind of hard. My gut reaction is no, but some games do offer good background music

I think it's nice sometimes but loud music during lewd scenes I usually turn down. There is often music but no other sound, which is weird. I would much prefer sound effects and voiced dialogue over background music.

I don't play adult games with sound, yes sound is great and can greatly enhance the experience, but often it's just some repetitive background music.
Also, the sex moans are often less then great
