I guess we wait with great anticipation for this game to be continued. His other games (Guardian, PA, etc) are wonderful. Proud father was going so well and so on task that hopefully he will see aditional help if necessary to move it along.

I am glad that this game will be finished but we shouldn't expect an update any time soon. The people working on this also have their own games. I don't even know how seath manages to work on so many games.

I hope this doesn't get integrated into the world of Seath's other games.

Im out of the loop, is that a reference to "unfinished games" or what?
No, it's a reference to the fact that the rest of Seath's games (except Foreseeable Family so far) have storylines that overlap and cross each other, in often really annoying ways, especially if you actively dislike some of his games but not others.

Seath has stated clearly that he knows where Westy wanted this game to go and that he will complete it in accordance with Westys vision.
After the last few updates of his own games Im not sure he knows the direction of his own game, let alone someone elses.

Eh TG was pretty solid, but he did admit in his Dicord that SWP didn't exactly end up where he wanted (probably why that one was chosen to be put on hold when having to choose which one to reduce his workload). This is why I prefer writing the enitre AVN first before even a single render, model creation, etc. even if it takes 2 years. To me winging it like most from one update to the next or worse, letting Patreon or SS polls guide the story in random directions like some devs do just isn't at all ideal.

TG also included the storyline of the just about all-powerful villain.

I hope so, stating something and actually doing it are two completely different things.
Now that I know his games all play in the same universe, if this one starts even remotely smelling like or hinting at it, would totally kill this game for me, as the overviews of his games have always put me off from even trying them.
I mean, there's already been enough easter eggs between PF and the Guardian that i'd say they're already part of the same universe so what are you on about?

- to be fair, little nods and homages isnt the same as two different games by two different authors existing in the same universe. Not to mention that PF and Blackhearts games are way different stylistically. So if FaceCrap really doesnt like Blackhearts games, he has a right to be concerned.

There's been more than little nods and homages. Ashley (in PF)'s ex-girlfriend is one of the main daughters in TG, as described in flashbacks in both games iirc.

Facecrap is a weirdo because Seath's games are gold

That's also pretty widely considered one of the worst decisions made regarding TG, and very few people who play both games like it as a storyline element, particularly with what has been said about the two of them in the intervening time between TG and TG2.

Folks, please stay on topic. I've already deleted a few messages on here.

- i personally considered that to be just a little homage, storywise that had zero influence on anything.
Erica and Ashley get married and adopt in TG. That's a big plot point. It means Ashley dumps Becky, moves away from her family and doesn't say with the MC. The way the Harem in PF seemed to be going was that all the girls would form a household/ close community

I remember a year or two ago I was considering this game and I thought it would be too tame for me because of the tags, so I never really tried it. Was it just mistagged? I think I remember seeing it on f95 or some other website, and I don't remember it having "male domination" "humiliation" or "blackmail". are these just a small part of the game? I like seath's games and I don't expect this to be the same vibe, but is it close?
Most of the game is on the lovey-dovey side, iirc it's only one or a few side characters that can be humiliated/dominated. They're not unimportant or rarely appearing characters, but they are not the focus of the game.

Edit: I mean, i might be wrong as i never really tried darker (humiliation/blackmail/dom) stuff with the main characters, but iirc there wasn't really any with them anyway.

If you take The Guardian, throw away all the mafia stuff, all the unnecessary plot twists, dead ends, crossovers with other games etc, keep only the family way+side girls - it will be more or less the PF ))
There is, actually, one crossover in PF - exactly with The Guardian. And if you played TG - you also met some girls from PF (during the Halloween event).
So, pretty much PF is TG without all the messy stuff. I'm not saying PF isn't messy on its own. But it is much less messy than TG ))
