Yeah there is a lot of cope whenever I point out that none of the people who say that, never recommend netori games or ever push for netori options in games. Also they're never going to admit it, people that make that claim are often very closeted. The ones that are open about it, often have a massive victim complex about it.

From which perspective you perceive a story is always on behalf of the reader/viewer, now matter how often you repeat otherwise. There is a massive difference between a game with interaction vs a book. Even more so when those games are obviously designed for self insertion. Your argument only actually makes sense with kinetic novels, which are just basically picture books with zero interaction or choice what so ever.

I see people making this claim a lot and never see it happen and I'm in a lot of threads, what I do see is people that say that people say that having a cg made for such content is a waste of time and resources. No, I have been there a lot and I'd bet money on these examples you're referring to, are from games where you're stealing the wife away from the husband, which is why people don't like it. Which not calling that a love interest at that point, seems kinda delusional. You can call them hypocrites for being into Netori, but it's really not an uncommon desire to not want to share even things you've stolen. Now I will admit, I'm RARELY in games with 3d daz content, maybe this all happens there though. I heavily doubt it however.

It usually is (because usually almost 100% of women in porn games are potential love interests), but I find it really odd when people are mad even BEFORE you've stolen the woman. Even before you've ever talked to her, some people feel she should not be allowed to kiss her own husband. A skilled writer may be able to just avoid showing that without it feeling awkward and I'm fine with that, but I also don't get mad if it is shown.

To me the worst thing the writer can actually do is make it obvious that he's purposely avoiding any man in the universe outside of the MC having any relations with any woman. It just makes the game world feel ridiculous and less believable, and therefore makes the game less arousing.
