How do you feel about collectibles in games?

I'm gonna go with not my kink but understand that some people like it. So long as there's a clear distinction between a normal playthough and a completionist playthough, go nuts. Also this spell checker keeps lying to me.

I enjoy them as long as they're not just an afterthought to make the game last longer

I don't mind unless you have to have to jump through a bunch of hoops, play side games and that kind of thing. If all I have to do is look for a donut, pineapple, dildo, butt plug, katana leaning against a pole or something like that, no big deal.

Ignore them. If it's required, it's a dumb game.

I just ignore it I don't try for any achievements in games

I like collectibles as long as it isn't a core gameplay mechanic. I don't like having to scan through every inch of a scene for a hidden gizmo or image to make progress, or to get the 'real ending'.

It seems absurd to me, a sexual game should not have objects that hinder the plot or enjoy the story

When I can, I collect them all, but I will no try hard

I am the farthest from a completionist, so i don't really notice collectibles. Huh, maybe I am missing out.

Ignore it, and needing them to get an ending is a dick move.

I never collect them. And in some games they are annoying 😂
When clicking somewhere and then having a item collected by accident is the worst

It annoys me to no end, as I tend to be a completionist, so I feel the pull to try it, knowing that in this kind of games is a waste of time. In the end, I click on the crap that's offered, until I decide it is a chore, never to pay attention to the collectibles nor the gallery.
Hey, like vacation photos!

Hate, hate, hate. I hate to run around and find that last one. Hate to miss out because when I first started, I didn't know or think to find. I would cheat code all of that shit out where I could.

I do kind of like some collectibles that incentivizes exploration of the world, but I have some requirements. If the collectibles have any impact on the game, there should be some way to detect approximately where they are that's unlocked as the game progresses. The game should not remove the ability to go back to get any missed collectibles. Collectibles (in open world games) should always be in noticeable places, like near a building, near curious natural formations or along roads used during the game, not in the middle of nowhere, where nothing stands out.
