No, but when you have a game with the same model(s), it can be confusing sometimes.

No, I don't mind. With some characters it's even an incentive to check it out further.

Unique modelling also takes time away from development and usually it's a different skill altogether anyway.

Not really. DumbKoala games use a lot of the same models in their different games, but since they're GOOD models, it looks goos. *Reusing shitty models, tho...*

if there is not much difference in the personality of the character then it bothers me, but if it is different then there is no problem.

Not really as lot of same assets are used in different games- for example I have seen same clothing store in multiple games.

It really feels like the engines have enough customization options that this shouldn't happen... it's one of the reasons I've been more and more going to 2D

well not exactly.
however it does break the immersion a little bit. especially if the model is on a character that i really liked/disliked.
to find them in a new setting can be off putting

mostly similar, but they also have their ouw character, mostly depends on the creator.

doesnt really bother me as long as they are completely copied

No, that question doesn't bother me. After all, in how many movies have we seen the faces of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino or Dustin Hoffman? Of course. these games don't even come close to cinema masterpieces, but just imagine that the same actor is involved in these viual/kinetic novels of yours. And how he/she plays his/her role is up to the talent of the developer.

It really doesn't bother me. But, as others have pointed out it is nice if the character in each game is meant to be someone 'new' or different then exact copies are disappointing.

It bothers me.. Devs have a tool to create great unique looking characters but a LOT of devs don't put in much effort.

I get tired of seeing the same one over and over. At least tweak them a little in DAZ. That way they don't look like clones. ;)

I think dumbkoala is for the most part that same universe.

Not that much, but if it was more that say 3 games I may start to mix up this one with that one. so a bit.

I don't mind the same model getting used so long as the character is different.
It's like movies, as long as the actor gets a different character to play its good.
But sometimes you get the same actor doing the same role just with a different name.

Not really big deal to me. It is kinda funny though.
