I like a walkthrough as backup when i get really stuck. But usually i like to figure it out myself.
Should be in all games. Hate having to go back and forth from reading to the game. And I HATE video instructions for anything.In-game walkthroughs yes, love 'em, but only in my AVNs. Every other game shouldn't have a walkthrough, although days befor the game is released there are hundreds of YT-Videos showing you how to do certain things and there are enough ppl who watch those videos. Kinda sad how this changed over the course of time if you ask me...
I think it depends on the game. Story driven with multiple outcomes, yeah makes sense to have a opt-in walkthrough. Exploration Games where the sole purpose is exploring the game and get to know every nook and cranny, nope. At least not for the first playthrough. After that, i personally don't care.Should be in all games. Hate having to go back and forth from reading to the game. And I HATE video instructions for anything.
Meh, I don't play those sort of games.I think it depends on the game. Story driven with multiple outcomes, yeah makes sense to have a opt-in walkthrough. But i also think its hard to do a proper in-game walkthrough for a game like skyrim or baldurs gate.
