Do you enjoy games that have/require a walkthrough?

I like a walkthrough as backup when i get really stuck. But usually i like to figure it out myself.

In game walkthrough mods are the best way. But I have nothing against pulling up a pdf for a good game. Just depends.

In-game walkthroughs yes, love 'em, but only in my AVNs. Every other game shouldn't have a walkthrough, although days befor the game is released there are hundreds of YT-Videos showing you how to do certain things and there are enough ppl who watch those videos. Kinda sad how this changed over the course of time if you ask me...

in normal games i try to complete it once without one, but in AVNs when the game begins with weird choices like go home or go shopping and that gives somehow points somewhere, the walkthrough will come out

Should be in all games. Hate having to go back and forth from reading to the game. And I HATE video instructions for anything.

I think it depends on the game. Story driven with multiple outcomes, yeah makes sense to have a opt-in walkthrough. Exploration Games where the sole purpose is exploring the game and get to know every nook and cranny, nope. At least not for the first playthrough. After that, i personally don't care.
But i also think its hard to do a proper in-game walkthrough for a game like skyrim or baldurs gate.

When using a walk-through I tend to concentrate on the steps instead of the story. So I don't enjoy it as much but I'll still finish it.

Meh, I don't play those sort of games.

Absolutely not, I remember playing unteralterbach, almost at the end of the game you need a walkthrought because there are tiny parts where you need to click and combine stuff that took me hours to try and figure out then had to look up a guide, haven't finished the game and decided to donwload a full save for the last few scenes i wanted, I was done with that game (I still recommend it tho)

Not really. It kinda defeats the purpose of a game if I can't figure out where to go and what to do myself. Ive played many of them. I just wish developers would include their own hints built into the game if its something like a point and click.

Always feel like you will miss things without a walk through. Even on games that are meant to be played more than once for different paths.

I enjoy games that have a walkthrough simply because I want to be able to see all the content. Otherwise, I may simply never be able to. I guess the main reason being that while some AVNs are actually gameplay rich, I'm mostly here to see the fun bits.

I usually do play with walkthroughs on. I'm probably an outlier in that I enjoy kinetic novels with minimal decisions. I'm usually just along for the ride when I'm reading through with the exception of being able to skip unappealing fetishes or women.

I like having the option, I prefer not to use it but if I get stuck on a puzzle or there's no clear indication of the next step it's nice to be able to look it up.

Very much, in fact I prefer the walkthrough for visual novels so I don't have to spend an hour reloading and replaying scenes because I made one bad/weird/funny choice.

I like it when there's a walkthrough, but it's not fun when you have to watch it just to make any progress. It's better when it's integrated into the game itself.
