Do you enjoy games that have/require a walkthrough?

I hate walk throughs, props to the modders who take the time to add them.

i appreciate them so i can just enjoy the story and get to the good stuff

I almost always need a WALKTHROUGH. My favorite WK is when the clever Dev builds it into the VN.
I hate playing mini-games, or keeping track of any kind of possessions or money or health, etc.

The more options I have the more I tend to like games. They don't "require" walkthroughs, but they are sure appreciated. Especially the more complex ones.

It depends. I think when people forget that porn games are meant to have porn, it gets messy. If you wanna do a real game, do a real game. Too much sweats is bad >:(

not at all, it ruins my experience cos i want to explore the game myself

Usually it means a game has many branching paths or is grindy and convoluted so it really depends.

Don't like having a walkthrough in the game. But I do like info when certain choices are locked because X or a path gets enabled if I choose Y. That's plenty Imho.

I love walkthroughs because i want to see all the content!

I don't mind if a game requires a walkthrough and has one. I do mind if a game requires a walkthrough and doesn't have one, or one that doesn't deserve the name because it's incredibly complicated and hard to interpret, as in the case of Pale Carnations. (It's so huge that I even have display problems with it.)

In AVNs I prefer using a walkthrough to missing out on content. So if a game is structured in a way, that it requires a walkthrough, I use one. Similarly, if a game requires grinding, I use a cheat (I don't play porn games for grinding some meaningless stats, but for the porn). But I prefer if a game requires neither.

I like walkthroughs for path selection and aiming for certain endings. If a game requires a walkthrough to simply play through it is either poorly designed or written.

I use Walkthrough mod, I don`t wanna lose scenes

I try to play blind at least the first time, and I might pick up a WT if I get stuck. I'm not averse to a WT, or strategy guide especially on a big open game (think GTA or Skyrim), and if I see a WT on an AVN (even if I don't dl it) I know that choices probably have a longer term effect.

If all the choices you offer in an AVN/KN only have the effect of "do you want to see the next scene with kink X, and partner Y", there's no need for a WT. But if the choice has an impact half an hour later, and isn't clear what the impact is at the time, a WT is very appreciated.

My ideal is a WT built in to the game, by the original dev (so you know it should be complete & accurate with each update) that you can toggle on and off, even better if they can somehow structure it to avoid spoilers (not asking a lot am I ?! :ROFLMAO:).

during the ps1/2 days I loved playing with a walkthrough but now it's the opposite and I rather play blind and maybe check a guide after I'm almost finished with the game

I think that games can be more or less difficult, but I don't think that any of them require a walkthrough.

Have to disagree on that one. Too many are the games where you jump in blind thinking you had taken the right steps, chosen the 'right' choices for a specific path just to realize 5 hours later that the one choice you made wrong just in the beginning meant that you missed out of 1 love point or whatever that is needed for a scene/ending.

I hate to read through walkthroughs though and immensly appreciate the devs and/or modders that take the time to include an in-game one or at least hints and points gained/loss when chosing actions.

I feel like a walkthrough or guide is a must when you play sandbox or rpgm game. I literally got lost or didn't know what to to most of the time
