Yeah, its easy to get bored with games if the story is too copy/paste. Usually I only play avns and the likes if I dont have much else to do so story is actually important to me. And of course as I saw a few others say, moderation is key, go out touch grass, interact with people and then check out a game you've been looking at. Just staring at a screen for hours on in is mind numbing and eventually you wont even be thinking of what youre actually looking at, little less being interested in it.

Now I am married and honestly, the adult games are more interesting to me then the real life girls. The games let me do things that I would never do in real life. you might just be busy all the time now, back when i was in school i could game for hours but now in the adult life i barely game on my computer but i just shifted that time from my computer to playing games on my phone so it might be a ease of access other than it not being stimulating enough. Easier to look at a random on the street than spending hours doomscrolling looking for that one perfect thing to get you going.
