Do ratings affect whether you download a game?

I think having good preview images amd tags are more important for me personally, someone might have very different taste and rate it higher/lower then you think it's worth

If a game has a 3 star or below rating with more than 1 review then I will deeply question if it is worth my time playing, but if there is only one review then it could just not be someones cup of tea.

For my part, I don't see the ratings, I only see three things, labels, version number and sometimes I ask if it is that good or the ntr is avoidable

I usually looks at the rating.
But most of the time the games with high rating I find them boring, too many genres together and a few scenes of each.
I prefer more when a game is more focused on one genre only

I try to read them, sometimes the reviewers just say that they just don't like the kind of gameplay it has.

They play into my inherent tastes.

The only thing that effects if i download a game are the places its ported to. mega, gofile and work upload are the ones i trust the most. other than that ill download most stuff just so long as its not too extreme.

I don't much care about ratings. I'm more interested in accurate tags and decent preview images. Like don't put a loli tag if they are all 6 feet tall with watermelon tits in the previews.

A high rating does not mean it is a game I will like .. but a low rating means it is nearly certain to be a game I wont like.

Most of the time I skip games with less than 3 .. unless there has been a personal recommendation to try it or something else to make me overlook the rating.

Somewhat, but I’m willing to just try stuff on a whim sometimes

Only if there are a moderate number of ratings. If it's just a couple ratings I won't put a lot of stock in it, but I'll pay a bit more attention if there are 10+ ratings.
Even still, it's more about the content. If it looks interesting I'll give it a shot.

IMO, 2 or lower with at least a few reviews I'll probably pass on, even if the genres are in my strike zone. 3 and above, if the genres match up and the screenshots catch my interest, I'll give it a try. Above a 4, unless the genres are not my thing, I'm willing to download.

That being said, there's several 4-5 star games that just didn't click with me and got dropped, sometimes multiple times. And I've taken a shot on some under 2 games that I ended up having a blast with. Just have to remember that everyone's tastes are a little different.

No not at all, tastes are so varied that some one can rate a game 10/10 just becaus it has a few sceenes with a feetish they like. Normi games i care even less since professional rewers are 99% payed for and user rewies are to easily swayed by "influencers"

Sometimes they do, but if it's something I'm already interested in anyways the ratings mean less.

I usually have to at least check out the pics, tags and maybe some comments even if the reviews are low. People give 5 stars to games because they are written without typos it seems with AVN games, then praise the story even though it's shit imo.

A low rating with lots of reviews will affect if I download a game. A game with a low rating with a small amount of reviews will cause me to wait and see. Also I don't take reviews of the first couple releases into consideration.

If the ratings are low then i will check the reviews. If game has lots of problems that people complain against, then i usually skip the game, if those issues are something i care about.
